Lunch at Floating Seafood Paradise Restaurant in Simpang Ampat.

Stone fish anyone? The manager recommended Steam Stone Fish and I give it a try. The meat is fine but chewy like squid. Umami is awesome. Stone fish is one of the most poisonous fish with venomous stings, but the the protein venom is gone with high heat. Each fish priced at RM 16 to RM 18 with minimum order of 2 fishes coz it is a small fish.

The blood cockle is is so fresh that is crunchy. Love it. You can’t getting fresher than this. The meat is sweet.

Steamed crabs.

They sell mostly live fish here, therefore umami remain top notch.
