Chiefeater Yong Choy Peng visited the newly opened Hakshan SS2 to give their Hakka cuisine a try

Japanese, Non-Halal
The last time I was at Hiryu was before covid so you can just imagine how many years went by! So glad this restaurant survived and the food here is still just as amazing as I remembered it to be.

The sushi and sashimi air flown from Japan was so fresh and delicious but the pièce de resistance was for sure the signature A5 wagyu beef don. A perfect combination of A5 wagyu, uni, foie gras and black truffles, all my favourite! It was a culinary version of experiencing a perfect symphony, every bite was music to my mouth. Just simply sublime!
