This is so good that I rate this better than most in Penang. An unpretentious hokkien prawn mee , exactly how old school Mee Yoke should be with those succulent plump round small prawns. The broth is divine, it struck a good balance of prawn n bone broth, savoury, mildly sweet with a balance of heat/ chilly.
Heck, most people don’t even realise that har mee/ hokkien prawn mee used to be known as Mee Yoke in Penang. Will come back to say hello to amicable Alan the young man (I presume 2nd or even 3rd Lim gen) manning the counter and to try the lor mee n lobak which I read good reviews about. I am so pleased.
