Chinese, Seafood, Pork-Free
Pre-CNY seafood dinner with makan kakis from KL Walkabouts at Restoran Perlama Seafood 咈蘭嗎海鲜饭店 in Klang.
What we ordered:
1. Salted egg mantis prawns

2. Steamed clams with ginger & wine

3. Signature honey baby sotong

4. Sweet & sour crab

5. Fried bun

6. Seafood porridge

7. Sweet potato leaf

8. Mix vegetables

9. Marmite chicken

The food was excellent. My favourites were the crabs, steamed clams, mantis prawns, baby sotong and porridge.
The flavours and textures for every dish was spot on. The seafood was very fresh. The crabs were big, with extra long legs, and packed with firm meat. The clams were plump and juicy. The tiny morsels of baby sotong were coated with a delectable sauce. The mantis prawns were crispy and fragrant with delicious salted egg flavour. The sauce for the marmite chicken was finger licking good too! The veggies were fresh and yummy.
Thanks to Chiefeater Mei Lee for organising.
