Fancy some Thai food? Old Market Food Court at Jalan New Ferry Butterworth have a Stall that dish up some of the standard Thai food , items like Pad Tai, Tong Yam and Pork Pad Kar Pau. I believe they are open for Lunch n Dinner as well as in between which is one of the reasons I am here, lunch for me can be after 2pm and this is about the only food court in this area of Butterworth that has stalls open at this time.
Having had the Pork Pad Kar Pau only locally I would not be able to judge how authentic this dish is here: most important for me it’s tasty (not like some of the other stalls), and it’s dish up pretty fast, they use Siew Yoke for the Pork and the Fried egg looks pre fried.
Decent I had this already a few times and they are pretty consistent. Now this dish may not be for everyone as the Siew Yoke use is perfect for me, though some may comment it’s too fatty.
