Hwa Heng Kei is a food stall located on Neil Road in Singapore, serving up their signature dishes of charcoal-roasted meats including dang gui herbal roast duck, roasted chicken, honey-roasted char siew and shio bak.
The danggui taste isn’t overbearing , and I prefer this to Dian Xiao Er’s. As with most hawker fare here - it’s a tad too sweet. I’d say 6.5/10 overall and definitely worth your time IF you’re already in the Keong Saik area.
The roast pork was passable at 6/10 but too dry for my liking. I’ve not found a Bernard’s OUG level roast pork here yet. Or even a Pudu roast pork.
